The insurrection is in opposition of the proposed law that seeks to protect vulnerable children from irreversible medical interventions, such as hormone therapy, that could have harmful effects on their long-term health.
The bill prohibits the provision of certain procedures and treatments related to gender transitioning, gender reassignment, or gender dysphoria to certain children, and the use of public money or public assistance to provide those procedures and treatments.
